Negative experience: This is definitely the worst place to rent water sports equipment, I rented a paddle, payed 100DHS for it and when I was about to enter the water they said the waves were too big. The ocean was completely flat and calm. Don’t go here or your are gonna waste your money

Fantastic experience: Went on the sun set cruise around the Palm which included the marina. 3 of us and shared with another family of 3 which split the costs. Soft drinks on the boat and the 2 crew were very friendly and told you about the sights. The trip was 2 hrs and would recommend lovely boat which you can go up stairs as well as sit on the bow .

Negative experience: My experience at Hydro Water Sports at Dukes The Palm was disappointing. Despite the offer clearly stated in the Entertainer app for a buy one get one free deal, they refused to honor it for the Dubai flyboard activity we wanted, priced at 350 dirhams. Instead of adhering to the voucher terms, they insisted on charging 600 dirhams for two, completely disregarding the offer. This lack of transparency and failure to honor their advertised deals left me feeling disappointed and frustrated with my experience. I would caution others to verify any offers before booking with Hydro Water Sports at Dukes The Palm.

Fantastic experience: Mohamed and his crew were super patient with me. I did the hoverboard-type experience. It was hard at first but it was a blast once I got more used to it. Just FYI, photos and videos do cost money so be prepared for that

Negative experience: Disappointing as we booked and paid for 2 efoil scooters so myself and my partner could go out on the water together. However they only had one efoil, so we had to go separately which kind of defeated the point. So just be aware that you me pay for something only to find that they don’t have what you paid for.

Fantastic experience: I will definitely do this again to learn some tricks! Came there and could directly start my flyboarding experience. My family got water to drink while waiting. The instructors where super nice. With their instruction it was super easy to fly. You just need some minutes to learn how the board behaves under your feet. At the end after 30 minutes I could fly around 3-4 meters high.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend more done the jet ski tour and it was great loads of photos everything. Zoz is the man too helped us organise stuff outside the hotel too to get to the Abu Dhabi F1. Man is a gent go to him fo best deals too

Fantastic experience: Wir haben heute eine Jetski Tour mir Hydra Water Sports in Jumeirah Beach gemacht. Die Jungs waren unfassbar freundlich, sehr achtsam und ließen uns in kleiner Gruppe ( wir waren mit dem Guide alleine) viel ausprobieren und wahnsinnig viel Spaß haben. Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis welches wir nur weiterempfehlen können. Vielen vielen Dank, Jürgen und Vicky

Absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Good informative commentary on board. It was the highlight of our trip & I can’t recommend it enough. If your thinking about it-just book it. Negative experience: Hydro Sports (Positive): The instructor tried his best to help me - I did flyboard, I could hardly get out of the water but he really did try to help; Hydro Sports (Negative): The owner (or worker who was receiving customers), I felt was super insistent in my buying the package to take photos and/or videos which was out of my budget. I said no multiple times, he insisted again and again telling me all first tryers always want a photo and video. It got really annoying. I understand he wants to make business but it's my money and I decide how I want to spend it; Location (Pros): Lots of water sport options and right next to a beach - the beach and restaurant is super expensive though, for reference a pint costs 55 AEDs; Location (Cons): No public transport to get there, not sure if there is parking for people who have cars; Conclusion: I personally won't go back but I hope my review gives people an idea of what to expect.

Negative experience: Save your time and money, go elsewhere. First, the prices here are ridiculous. They are asking for 1500 AED for a one hour jet ski for two people ride - for comparison, you can easily get 90 minutes of jet ski riding for 900 AED at Kite beach. Once I tried to book it - with the personnel promising that we can go “right now”, I found that they don’t have jet ski locally, but somewhere at kite beach. So you have to wait an hour for the boat, then a 30 minute ride to kite beach, and only then can you ride the over-priced jet ski. After waiting for an hour for the boat, I just asked for a refund and left. Save you time and money, there are a lot of better places that are far cheaper and that actually have the jet ski

Positive experience: I booked for Jetovator through online. When I go to the spot they confused me that Jetovator is tough to handle and Fly board is easy. So I confused and afraid to chose the equipment and did not do the activity. While searching in Google, I found Jetovator is easier than Flyboard.

Fantastic experience: The experience was amazing from beginning to end. The team is super friendly and very helpful, nice and encouraging. I went with my little sister a few hours before our airplane departed from UAE. Nemr and Hamido gave us the best experience of our 3 months stay in UAE. I didn't have a swimsuit and Nemr gladly gave me an extra one he has. He was very genuine nice and encouraging. He went above and beyond to make me fly using the flyboard and repeatedly gave me tips and hints on how to do it. The smile never left his face. Hamido took fabulous pictures ones I wish I had got and took the time to go through but I was in a hurry. 10/10 would recommend if you ever go to The Palm Jumeriha and don't give them a visit you would have left Dubai with an incomplete experience
