Negative experience: I booked many tickets with Akbar travels app. one month before my flight cancelled due to airline reason and i requested refund by mail as per their instruction. Firstly they said they will refund within 10 working days, After many email still they are saying they are waiting for airline to get reply Worst customer service, I stopped booking with Akbar travels

Negative experience: Akbar Travels has one of the Worst and unreliable service! Think twice if you are booking when anything emergency. I have booked a ticket for very emergency purpose, payments went through well but they haven't send any confirmation mail till last minute. When i received the mail at last moment they did not mentioned any airport terminal info in it. so without proper information or quick mail response I missed the flight and money as well. Akbar travel din't take responsible for that or refund my money. IF YOU DONT WANT LAST MINUTE SURPRISES THINK TWICE TO BOOK WITH THEM!

Negative experience: i took EMIRATES ticket from akbar online but my flight was FLY DUBAI there was 2000 difference between fly dubai and emirates ticket so sad upset with them

Negative experience: The ABSOLUTELY WORST TRAVEL AGENCY TO BOOK FLIGHTS WITH. ITS BEEN 66 days since the refund was requested and 63 days since the refund was initiated from the airline but till now the refund has not reached our bank account. The reason for cancellation and refund was due to the Bad weather in UAE. Smartly enough, they gave us a whole table of how their charges will be deducted, and STILL have not refunded the amount even after deductions. After a total of 14 emails sent to the agency and constant follow up with the agency over the landline. The agency continues to promise a refund at a later date. NEVER BOOKING FLIGHTS HENCEFORTH FROM AKBAR TRAVELS AND EVERYONE SHOULD MAKE SURE TO THINK TWICE IF YOU WANT TO GO AHEAD WITH SUCH AN AGENCY.

Positive experience: When you book online with their "special fare", please note that you can not manage your booking online through the airline website, you can not select any additional services or even select a preferred seat because this "special fare" is a group booking (usually up to 10 passengers under one PNR). Other than this disadvantage, "special fare" is cheaper than all other online booking platforms.
