Al Sayegh Travels

Negative experience: Horrible experience with this agency . I have travelled to over 25 countries and never had such an experience. We booked for a tour package ( excluding flight and hotel) . They charged us above the local rates ( i checked the prices ) claiming they provide premium experience. Hence as is normal we expected a driver / guide to explain everything to us and a comfortable vehicle But once we got there all that was provided was a driver and van. The driver did not even speak english (despite the company knowing that we require somone who speaks english) and did not explain to us anything about the city and was pretty rude . They tried to charge us 60 USD per day extra for the guide claiming that the guide needs to go to university for 4 years to become a guide and so it’s expensive ( i have no words for this LOL!) My entire trip was ruined with me having to keep messaging these people everyday regarding issues . For the first day they planned a trip to gabala which is around 4 hours away from baku so in total atleast 8 hours travel back and forth and then next day claimed that the drivers working hours is 10Am -7 pm and we made him late and they did us a favor by paying him overtime when it was clearly bad management on their side that they did not include the time for visiting the places properly in the intinerary. And the driver came atleast 30 minutes late on most days and kept discouraging us from visiting places since he wanted to go home. Multiple times he told us that places would be closed when infact they were still open and we were able to visit only since we insisted on going and checking ourselves . And multiple times he sent me rude messages due to which i had to block his number as its not appropriate for me to reply to such messages. On the last day the plan was for baku tour and we insisted on having a guide to explain everything to us. After a lot of conversation and insistance they finally agreed to send the guide. Overall HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Will never book with them ever again.
